It has enough protection for pretty much any weather and enough pockets and straps for a jaunt up a hill to full on mountaineering. Maybe that's not an issue, but I've known what it is to have seconds to get the gear in place to get the shot and if you're not prepared with this bag I think you may miss shots like that.That is a tiny point, but depending on how you work, maybe a very important one.Other than that, this really is a very good quality item, very comfortable and secure.
There are rain flaps covering the whole thing.and this is what stopped me giving it the full 5 stars, the rain flaps, which are strapped down (a nice thought) do stop you getting quick access to the main contents, I'm not talking about the the full yellow cover here, but the cover with the Mantona branding on it. Little thoughts like this to me show how much care has gone into the design.This could almost have been designed for British weather (I haven't checked, maybe it was?) because fully wrapped up there is no rain going to get in here.
